Sanjay Dutt Travels To US For Routine Medical Check-Up Following Recovery From Stage 4 Lung Cancer: Report

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has reportedly travelled to the United States for a routine medical check-up years after successfully recovering from lung cancer. According to reports, the actor left Mumbai last week shortly after attending promotional events for his recently released political drama Aakhri Sawaal. The visit is said to be part of his regular annual health examinations, which he has continued since overcoming cancer in 2020.

Back in August 2020, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer after he experienced severe breathlessness and fluid accumulation in his lungs. The shocking diagnosis had left fans deeply concerned, especially during the pandemic period. Reports at the time stated that the actor had planned treatment in the US and later secured a long-term medical visa for further consultations and opinions from specialists abroad.

Following intensive treatment and medical care in Mumbai, the actor was declared cancer-free in October 2020. Since then, he has continued to travel to the US regularly for follow-up examinations and routine health monitoring. According to recent reports, this year’s trip is also precautionary and part of the same medical schedule.

Sources close to the actor reportedly revealed that Sanjay is currently doing well physically. He is believed to be staying in Los Angeles with his close friend Paresh Ghelani during this visit. While earlier consultations were reportedly linked to New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the latest medical opinions are said to be taking place in California as well.

A source quoted in the report said, “Sanju’s entire US itinerary is not known. He may also fly to the East Coast from LA. As of now, all that can be said on his physical well-being is that he is well. He has been travelling to America in the last few years on a regular basis for his annual check-ups. This time is no different.”
